CARING FOR YOUR CAREFULLY CRAFTED JEWELLERY
Jewellery Care
Always remove your jewellery when cleaning or using harsh chemicals which can damage precious metals and stones.
Allow any perfumes and skin products to settle on skin for five minutes before putting on your jewellery and always remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercise.
Tarnish
Most jewellery naturally tarnishes over time.Wearing your jewellery will help avoid this.
The best advice is to store in a small airtight bag while you aren’t wearing it, then pop in its pouch.
If you notice discolouration, you can easily remove by using a polishing cloth (you can purchase these online or at your local jewellers). Gently rub your jewellery in one direction. Alternatively you may use a lint free cloth dipped in lukewarm water and a mild soap and pat dry. Please avoid harsh chemicals and detergents.
Tip: You can also gently rub your jewellery with your finger and this should easily remove any tarnish. (Just be sure to give your hands a good wash after!)
I do not recommend the use of an ultrasonic cleaner due to the nature of natural stones.
